Pastor Ed Pippin
Was born in 1947, he graduated from Dalton
High School. He also attended Dalton Jr. College. Ed came to know the
Lord as his saviour on Sept 9th, 1973 at Deep Springs Baptist Church at
the age of 26. He was called to preach the gospel and announced the
calling in May of 1976. He attended Tennessee Temple University from
1979-1982 and received his diploma in Pastoral Studies. Ed served as
the Sunday School Superintendant and was a Sunday School teacher at
Deep Springs Baptist Church for 6 years. He pastored Bi
Vocational from 1985-1993 at Little Prospect Baptist Church,and from
1993-1995 Ed also was Bi Vocational Pastor at Cohutta Hills Baptist
Church. He became the Pastor of Varnell Baptist Church in 1996 where he
remains. Ed is married to Josie and they have 3 children, Josh, Alex
and Jessica they also have 3 grandchildren Bristeyn & Khenidi
Pippin and Landrhe Higdon.
